We are an international platform connecting 12 organisations from 12 European countries supporting new and emerging craft artists and practitioners, helping them collaborate, develop their skills, and promote their work nationally and internationally.
We encourage co-creation and the use of new technologies to innovate the craft industry, preserve its history, and shape its future. We also aim to engage marginalised communities and institutions to raise awareness of the needs of emerging craft artists and improve their representation in the sector.
Apply as a couple for the 1 & 2 weeks residencies happening from August 2026 to August 2027!
The Craft Mobilities are aimed at a 10-days co-creation of a craft piece and happen across 3 ROUNDS.
Are you an emerging craft artist exploring your unique artistic identity? We are here to support you!

My work blends several practices together through art, ecoart, craft and digital media.

My current focus is on wool tapestries and hand-tufted carpets, where I translate intuitive illustrations into vibrant, textured worlds.

I developed a keen interest in printmaking over the past two years whilst attending part-time CEAD courses at NCAD and Gorey School of Art.

I enjoy experimenting and combining different materials to find new ways of expressing.

My inspiration comes from nature—the textures of stone, the rhythm of waves, the quiet patterns of growth.

My approach to art practice is based on two parts – the fact that I am printmaker and Art historian.

My art captures parts of myself and the world that I’m trying to understand.

I mix digital media with traditional techniques and am especially drawn to themes that explore social psychology.

As a designer, I often explore the boundaries between human and non-human, nurture and nature, organic and geometric.

My work involves sculpture, hybrid objects, and installation, with a focus on textiles.

I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and embroidery, constantly exploring new techniques to expand my creative boundaries.
