Cube NGO is an Institute of Support and Studies on Entrepreneurship, Social Development, and Social Cohesion, based in Thessaloniki. At Cube, we actively nurture the creative sector—from design to traditional and contemporary craft—as a dynamic field for empowerment and social innovation. Our mission is to support entrepreneurial and artistic expression that helps integrate and uplift both Vulnerable Social Groups and sectors that benefit from our guidance.
Guided by the principles of Respect, Co-development, and Inclusion, Cube develops studies, research, training, and strategic actions that encourage people to shape their own futures. Through our focus on Anthropocentric Entrepreneurship, Social Policy, Social Cohesion, and Social Inclusion, we work to craft a more vibrant, equitable, and interconnected reality—one where creativity and craft become tools for social change.
Links with craft sector
Cube’s activities strongly connect with the artistic and craft sector by supporting creativity as a pathway for social empowerment, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. We design training, mentoring, and research initiatives that help emerging and established makers—craftspeople, designers, artisans—develop their skills, strengthen their business models, and access new markets. By engaging Vulnerable Social Groups in craft-based learning and creative entrepreneurship, we promote both cultural heritage and contemporary craft practices. Through collaborations, workshops, and strategic actions, Cube helps the craft sector grow as a dynamic field of social innovation, community building, and sustainable economic development.

Projects
Cube has developed a strong legacy of projects that blend creativity, sustainability, and social empowerment. Through the OUR STAGE Project, we supported Roma theatre artists in developing stagecraft skills by teaching them how to design props and visual elements using recycled and repurposed materials. This initiative not only strengthened artistic expression but also promoted environmental awareness and resourceful creativity within the performing arts.
The E-ART Project focused on helping artists enhance their professional skills and adopt more sustainable practices. By introducing innovative materials, eco-friendly techniques, and entrepreneurship support, the project equipped participants with tools to become more resilient and environmentally conscious creators. Its outputs include training modules, artist toolkits, and a network of practitioners committed to sustainable artistic production.
With the RESET ART Project, Cube curated youth-led creative processes centered on sustainable craft. Working across the Caribbean and Europe, the project highlighted shared environmental challenges while empowering young people to express these concerns through craft-based artworks. Exhibitions, educational materials, and cross-regional collaborations stand as key outputs.
