Our activities strongly connect with the craft sector by combining traditional making with digital tools and contemporary creative practices. We work closely with local artisans, designers, and creators through workshops, collaborations, and opportunities to showcase their work. A key part of our mission is educating young people: through regular hands-on workshops, we introduce youth to crafts, design, and new technologies, helping them develop practical skills and creative confidence. With Maker Faire Mostar, we further highlight the value of craftsmanship and encourage dialogue between traditional artisans and tech-driven makers, strengthening and modernizing the local craft ecosystem.

In addition to training, showcasing, and collaboration, we are actively involved in strengthening the regional maker culture by building bridges between traditional crafts and modern technologies. We organize community events and educational programs that encourage experimentation and knowledge exchange. Our activities often involve interdisciplinary teams working together on prototyping, repairing, and reimagining everyday objects. We also facilitate networking opportunities for craftspeople to connect with cultural institutions, educational organizations, and potential partners. Through youth-focused programs, we nurture early interest in craftsmanship, design thinking, and hands-on problem-solving, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the craft sector.

With the Maker Faire Mostar, we established a long-term platform for showcasing innovative craft practices, handmade products, and youth creativity. The aim is that event grow into a regional meeting point for makers, artisans, designers, and educators, leaving behind a visible legacy of strengthened networks, new collaborations, and increased public interest in craft culture.
Our regular workshops for youth and adults have produced a growing community of young makers skilled in both manual and digital techniques. Participants have created functional craft objects, artistic pieces, and small-scale products, contributing to a culture of hands-on learning.
We have developed partnerships with local artisans, cultural institutions, and schools, resulting in co-created exhibitions, educational resources, and pilot initiatives that support the integration of crafts into contemporary creative industries.
