Center Rog, Ljubljana’s flagship hub for creativity and innovation, is thrilled to announce the next edition of RogCreathon—a dynamic, hands-on event dedicated to young designers, creatives, and makers under 30.
The open call is now live, and applications are open until 6 October 2025. Young creatives can apply [HERE] and are encouraged to spread the word to students, peers, and emerging talents in their networks.
Taking place from 10–12 November 2025, RogCreathon offers an immersive 48-hour design sprint that brings together 25 selected participants from across disciplines and countries. Set in the vibrant atmosphere of Europe’s largest creative hub, the event invites participants to tackle this year’s theme, “Boundaries and Frictions,” under the guidance of internationally acclaimed mentors:
- Anna Resei (AT) – Product and textile designer
- Igor Siddiqui (USA) – Architect and scholar
- Virginia San Fratello (USA) – Architect, designer, and professor
- Alberto Gianfreda (IT) – Sculptor and professor of sculpture techniques
- Annelys de Vet (NL) – Designer and researcher
RogCreathon is more than a competition—it’s a space for experimentation, collaboration, and cross-pollination of ideas. Through the fusion of diverse disciplines and materials, participants will co-create bold, functional prototypes that challenge conventions and push the boundaries of exploration.
The event also offers a chance to connect with an international community, engage with top-tier mentors, and compete for special prizes—all while contributing to a culture of innovation and creative exploration.
