Spazio Agartha

I would like to co-create a collective textile artwork composed of multiple fabric squares, each decorated through different techniques such as freehand drawing, collage, hand-printing, and intuitive embroidery. At the end of the process, the individual squares will be sewn together to form a large, creative tapestry that reflects the shared experience and the blending of our skills.
The process will be structured over several days, each dedicated to exploring a different technique or approach to decorating fabric. We will alternate between individual experimentation and collaborative sessions, encouraging freedom of expression while sharing tools and ideas. The final phase will involve assembling all the pieces into a single, cohesive artwork that embodies our collective creativity.

I will contribute my knowledge of freehand drawing, creative facilitation, and visual storytelling, along with my sensitivity to composition, color, and intuitive artistic expression. I also bring experience in leading participatory workshops and working across disciplines to co-create meaningful artistic outcomes.

I hope to learn more about traditional and contemporary craft techniques, especially in hand-printing and embroidery. I am particularly interested in understanding how these practices can be approached in a mindful and expressive way, and how they can enrich my artistic language through material exploration and slowness in making.
