The final Craft product must be a functional object. This can include, but is not limited to:
– A piece of furniture
– A garment or fashion accessory
– A ceramic or glass item (e.g., a vase or bowl)
– A 3D-printed object
– A smart device or robotics
– A newly developed biomaterial (e.g., made from mycelium or kombucha)
– A jewelry piece
– A metalwork item
– Or other usable, well-crafted products

Center Rog is a space for applied arts — it brings together architecture, design, engineering, urban craftsmanship, DIY and making. The product must be developed within Center Rog using the tools and equipment available on-site.

You may work in any of our fabrication labs, and even combine several, as interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged. Each lab is supported by a team of skilled mentors and technologists who can guide you in using machines and tools — even if you’re not yet confident in working with them.

Center Rog houses nine production labs, and we are looking for Craft practitioners who will engage with at least one of the following:
– FabLab (digital fabrication)
– Textile Lab
– Wood Lab
– Metal Lab
– Green Lab
– Ceramics Lab
– Glass Lab
– Jewelry Lab
– (We also have a Culinary Lab 😊)

The selected craft practitioner must have hands-on experience and knowledge of processes, tools, or materials relevant to at least one of the labs listed above. Additionally, if the practitioner has expert-level skills in any specific technique, material, or lab-related process, there is the opportunity to lead a masterclass or conduct knowledge transfer workshops for the Center Rog community.
