  • Circularity (e.g. reusing materials)
  • Inclusion (of people with fewer opportunities)
  • Entrepreneurship / business development

Expected and aspired co-creation

We would like to co-create a therapeutic mosaic artwork as a collective expression of our shared practice. This final piece will symbolize emotional resilience and creative healing, using sustainable materials and inclusive techniques. Alongside the physical mosaic, we aim to co-develop a small guidebook of craft-based therapeutic methods, rooted in real experience and adaptable to work with people with fewer opportunities or mental health challenges. The process will be structured as a therapeutic craft course we facilitate, combining practice and reflection. We will introduce several of our core methods, including:

Sustainable mosaic making

Collage with emotional mapping

Clay work and hand sculpting

These techniques will be explored both in group and individual formats, targeting themes such as anxiety, emotional expression, and sensory integration.

Together with the practitioner, we will apply these techniques hands-on, reflect on their therapeutic use, and co-write the steps and insights into a toolkit-style publication. The final session will involve assembling the mosaic as a metaphor for inner reconstruction and collective healing.

The Expertise I Will Provide:
A structured art therapy course blending creative and psychological approaches

Hands-on experience in facilitating inclusive workshops with vulnerable groups

Authorial methods developed through real practice, suitable for educators, therapists, and community workers

Guidance on how to turn craft into therapeutic tools

Knowledge in group dynamics and trauma-sensitive approaches

The Expertise We Would Like to Have in Exchange:
We would love to learn new craft techniques — ideally ones rooted in local tradition or personal innovation — that can be adapted into therapeutic contexts. We are particularly interested in:

Material-based techniques with strong tactile or symbolic value

Practices that can help access memory, emotion, or grounding

Craft forms that could be simplified or expanded for different populations (youth, elderly, neurodiverse, etc.)

We are looking for a practitioner with interest in psychology or experience in art therapy — ideally with a background in mental health — who is open to collaborative development and knowledge-sharing.
