Sara Cojić

I’m Sara, a curious and multilingual creative based in Belgrade, Serbia. I’ve spent most of my life moving between disciplines — writing, law, operations, facilitation, language, and making things with my hands has woven through all of it. I came back to craft with intention in early 2026, and it’s been one of the most grounding decisions I’ve made.
What excites me is the intersection of slowness and discovery. I’m drawn to natural, sustainable materials that are gentle on the planet and on the skin. I’ve been learning embroidery, dry needle and wet wool felting, crochet; collecting paper for paper making, exploring ceramics through workshops and planning to sign up for proper classes soon. There’s something deeply satisfying about working with your hands, creating something real and tactile from what already exists in the world around you.
I’m currently at the beginning of a long creative journey, approaching it with curiosity and no rush to arrive anywhere in particular.

I work across several crafts: embroidery, wool felting and ceramics, and I’m currently collecting paper to start making it by hand. Sewing, quilting, textile art, linocut, jewellery making, and illustration are on my list too.
I’ve been making things since childhood, but I returned to craft with fresh eyes in January 2026. I go for natural and sustainable materials whenever it’s possible: better for the environment, and better for the skin. Unglazed ceramics resonated with me immediately when I learned that reducing the number of firings from two to one directly saves energy and lowers the ecological footprint of the whole process.
