Kindness and calmness are adjectives that often characterize me. Working with my hands is one of the things that satisfies me most: spending time working the land in the countryside, making musical instruments, and then kneading dough in the kitchen.
I’ve been pursuing academic studies and painting in recent years, tending to explore “living” materials such as natural earths, natural dyes, and plant fibers for papermaking.

Since the onset of COVID-19, I’ve begun exploring the world of sound, also linked to materials such as the great versatility of river reeds, wooden sticks, gourds, and tanned hides.

I’ve only occasionally dedicated myself to carving wooden objects, whether at the seaside, in the countryside carving objects with rudimentary tools, or during my studies carving mostly paper.

In recent months, since I began attending lutherie school and thus having a more daily relationship with wood and thus developing an even more refined sensibility, I’ve begun to explore this art, starting to carve small geometric motifs and high-relief figures.
