I am a painter and multidisciplinary artist, born in Lisbon currently based in Funchal/Portugal. My work explores personal expression and growth, although it is currently beginning to drift towards more cultural thematics.
I draw inspiration from my personal life/interior world, artistic movements like impressionism, expressionism and symbolism, as well as my background in street art (urban dance and graffiti). So, I aim to create a body of work that moves and comforts others, I look to help them exist in their lives knowing another human lived a similar experience to whatever it is they are going through, as other artists did with me (therfore continuing the art cycle).
My creative process often involves an intuitive approach to theme, colors and expressive line work, resulting in work that is experimental yet honest.
I’ve exhibited my work in Art Center Caravel (Funchal) with my very own project “Dupla Dicotomia) and I will continue to develop projects that challenge the rules, creating my own, and bridge the gap between fine art and street art, like many others did before me.
I strive to create pieces of art as beautiful as the world seems to me.
Artworks

This work represents a search to portray my inner "self". By removing the "face" of the composition and replacing it with a flower, a daisy, I indicate to the viewer that the true portrait is present in the entire composition and not just in the person portrayed. By looking at the steps I took to create this painting, one can see the true portrait.

The distorted personification of love.

A forest that closes in around us, evidence of a massacre without any victims. Painted with hands in a sudden act, it represents a primal state of liberation. It is precisely with the primal side that this painting seeks to dialogue. A piece that identifies “Chaos”.

This work represents a salute to the past, to my best friend and to the memories we have built together. It is a work of gratitude and recognition of the edifying nature of the relationships we create with others. An identifying piece of “Control”.
