This complex female costume is in the Ukrainian ethnic style, which combines a dress, apron, vest and headdress. The outfit represents the idea of unity between the past and the future, the harmony of the modern with the cultural roots of the people. The dove is a symbol of peace, which the Ukrainian people seek, and the revival of forgotten traditions. Just as a dove returns to its nest, this outfit reminds us of the strength of the family, spiritual roots and richness of Ukrainian culture.Materials: Taffeta, tulle, acrylic and wool yarnTechniques: Hand weaving, quilting, machine sewing and embroidery.
