I make jewelry with recycled materials from the construction of tambourines. My craftsmanship is aimed at ecology and my guiding principle is the circular economy.
I approached craftsmanship a bit by chance. I have a degree in international political science with a specialization in the Middle East and North Africa and I also have a specific diploma in migration studies. I started working with macramé after a six-month trip to South America with my boyfriend, now seven years ago. He is a frame drum maker together with his dad, initially I went to their workshop just to hang out but then, surrounded by all those materials, the first ideas came to me and currently I work with the scrap brass of tambourine rattles, the wood of the hoop and everything is often held together by macramé.
I love all my materials because I have a completely different feeling with each one and I am practically self-taught in everything I do.
Artworks

Nefertari necklaces, can also be used as tiaras. main material brass derived from drum rattles. the moon is a very important element for me, it was my first creation with these materials and often returns in my creations, these necklaces are in fact composed of moons. my style is definitely ethnic, it is not and does not want to be for everyone, it does not follow the fashions of the moment and is naturally and always inspired by the Arab world.

Nahar earrings (Arabic word for the sun). also in this case they are ecological earrings made with recycled materials from the construction of the drums. the central body, the sun, is made of brass while the hoops are made of wood, specifically paduk, which comes from the hoop of the drums.
