I work in the field of design with a focus on textile craft, with a focus on materiality and color. I am driven by working with process, experiment and investigation.
I have always been drawn to the versatile expression and ability of textiles to adapt and describe emotions. Since childhood, it has been the material my hands understood the best. Through fashion design and into textile education, I have worked with it on the side for 9 years. I do not have a favorite technique but rather adapt to assignments or projects and enjoy finding new techniques.

The picture shows the process of hanging an installation in Lund Cathedral where I was asked to interpret the subject of grief. I chose to focus on the different stages of grief and show them through color and materiality. I found the form through a dancer who expressed the stages with her body, which I then abstracted into simplified shapes and directions. The result was a work you can move through.
