I am an artist working and living in Belgrade, Serbia. I hold a degree in Applied Sculpture from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and an MA in Cultural Policy and Management (UNESCO Chair) from the University of Arts in Belgrade.
Nowadays, my practice is primarily focused on illustration. Drawing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and it remains the foundation of my creative process. I’m always exploring, expanding and experimenting with different materials and techniques. Through the Craftwork4All platform, I had the opportunity to try my hand at embroidery, discovering more about traditional craft practices.

From the series of works “Afghan Woman / Burka Blue”
The title is inspired by the song ''Burka Blue'' by the Afghan female indie rock band The Burka Band, whose members performed anonymously in burkas as a protest against Taliban oppression. This series of works is a visual response to the systematic erasure of female identity and freedom. Through portraits and motifs of the burqa, the works ask the question of what remains of a woman when her face, voice, and right to exist in public space are taken away.
