I am a multidisciplinary artist with a background in architecture and visual arts, working at the intersection of illustration, textiles and murals. Rooted in the wild natural landscapes of Slovenia’s Soča Valley, my practice grows from a need for self-expression, freedom, and connection. I draw on mythology, folk traditions, dreams, and psychology.
What excites me is transforming inner visions into shared spaces of beauty, curiosity, and healing. My work lives in “in-between” places, where ancestral memory meets contemporary longing, and where art becomes both storytelling and a bridge to the human spirit.
My current focus is on wool tapestries and hand-tufted carpets, where I translate intuitive illustrations into vibrant, textured worlds. I came to this craft through a longing for slow, tactile making in contrast to the speed of the digital age, 3 years ago.
Working with wool allows me to stay loyal to human senses, exploring color combinations and atmospheres. Over the past years, I have developed my own approach, drawing from folk traditions, archetypes, and natural cycles. My favorite technique is tufting, as it transforms flat drawings into physical, haptic surfaces—turning symbols, dreams, and stories into something people can touch, feel, and live with. Through this process, I aim to create textiles connecting people with memory, myth, and the natural world.
