After graduating from the Visual Arts department in Thessaloniki, I soon decided that I had to incorporate my artistic part in my work! That’s why despite the difficulties and after a lot of effort I started my own business and I deal with art courses and handmade products.
What excites me the most is teaching young people both in painting and printmaking.
I try to impart to them as best I can what I know and I love that we are discovering together a self that they had left behind.
Because of this my personal work as an artist is now not as productive as I would like it to be but I am here to change that slowly!
I have the pleasure of teaching painting and printmaking! They are two art forms that I was deeply involved with while I was at university and to this day I am still discovering and studying new things!
I also learn a lot from my students !
I remember me painting as a child and I am more than happy that I have been able to make it a profession.
My favorite technique in terms of engraving I will say is Tonal Etching or Aquatint which fascinated me a lot in my studies , but in my studio we are working and delving into engraving in linoleum!
As far as painting is concerned, one of my favorite materials is watercolors , which I think have so many possibilities and I particularly like the freedom that water gives you along with color.
Artworks

This work is part of a series I had started dedicated to the Greek deities of mythology, trying to capture their dynamism, energy and femininity!I wanted to create a series in which information about each female figure would be quickly written down. It's designed with an electronic stylus, a tool I've been testing and working on a lot.

This particular print is a lino in A3 size and depicts a turtle in motion.I like the contrast of the background which is completely black in contrast to the movement of the lines within the turtle itself. For a long time I considered it something of a fluke so I did one black and white pencil impression, one colour and this is the linoleum version.

This project came out of my need to make something wearable that the public could wear. The sun in Greece is something connected to our everyday life and energy and there is a pun written on it.The design was done with markers, scanned and printed on limited production cotton t-shirts. It's minimal in its lines and colors, I like the curves and the happy mood it gives.

Jewelry making and creating is part of my everyday life so I couldn't help but include it! Semi-precious stones, in summer shades, composition , thought and creativity are behind each one!Once again, the Greek summer and my place have a great influence on me!
