La Galería by Lastcrit
La Galería by LastCrit is an independent, self-managed contemporary art and cultural space based in El Born, Barcelona. Dedicated to multidisciplinary practices, it supports artists through exhibitions, short artistic residencies, workshops, events and experimental projects that foster dialogue between art and design.
Alongside its exhibition programme, the space includes a sonorised room for experimental listening sessions, live podcast recordings, and small-scale performative events. The venue also hosts weekend comedy shows, monologues, and intimate cultural performances, creating a vibrant platform for artistic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Engagement
We would like the Craft Practitioner to develop an art installation on a large scale that would combine artisanship and ephemeral architecture practices. We can transform our gallery space into a dry workshop, allowing participants to work with their own tools or helping them find the tools needed to realise the project. We will provide curator leadership and follow up on the creative process of the artist/designer. We can also invite a local artists to participate in the project and this way to create new connections between 2 practices.
We expect the artist to create an installation, to somehow integrate the local community into the process, and also to give an open workshop for our followers and be present at the public opening of the installation event.
