Co-creation Experience – Maxim Kovar – Sweden

“A truly wonderful and inspiring experience!”

Introduction

The workshop went very well. Considering how little time we had to master the technique of lithography—which is quite technically challenging for beginners—the course went smoothly and was a relaxed experience. Activities Undertaken

The workshop focused on introducing participants to the technique of lithography. We began with a lecture on the history of lithography and how this reproduction technique influenced local industrial production. We then moved on to a theoretical introduction, where the principles of the technique were explained and the entire technological process was presented in detail. Over the next two days, we focused on designing our own images, which we then transferred to a lithographic stone and printed using the local lithography workshop. Finally, we presented the results of our work in a group presentation alongside other art groups.

Benefits Achieved

I learned the basics of lithography, had the opportunity to use the workshop’s facilities to create my own print, and, last but not least, met many inspiring people from all over Europe.
