Now. New Craft Poland
NÓW New Craft Poland is an association of contemporary Polish artisans established to promote modern craft from Poland at its best. Bringing together makers who blend tradition with innovation, NÓW supports high-quality, locally produced work rooted in skilled craftsmanship. The association promotes sustainable practices, collaboration, and international visibility for Polish design. As a member of European Craft Alliance, NÓW connects its creators to a broader European craft network, strengthening cultural exchange and professional opportunities.

Nów. New Craft Poland has built a national hub connecting contemporary craft studios across disciplines such as ceramics, glass, wood, textiles and metal. Its main legacy is the creation of a unified network supporting makers through promotion, knowledge exchange and professional development. Past projects include the long-running 'Full New Moon” exhibition series, which documented the evolution of Polish craft and introduced cross-disciplinary collaborations, notably the KOOPERACJE programme pairing makers from different materials. The association has also organised numerous exhibitions and events under “NOW. New Craft & Friends,” strengthening the visibility of Polish craft in cultural and design environments.
Nów has contributed to the professionalisation of the sector by offering a shared promotional platform, joint online sales, and support for participation in fairs, residencies and cultural initiatives. Its collaborations with public institutions and cultural partners have helped elevate contemporary Polish craft within the broader creative industries.
These activities have produced lasting outputs: a strong craft community, documented exhibitions, an active network of studios, and a recognised platform promoting a modern, sustainable, material-focused approach to Polish craftsmanship.
