Our organization is closely connected to the artistic and craft sector through collaborative projects, workshops, and educational programs. We support artisans, ceramicists, and visual artists by providing spaces for creation, skill development, and networking. As part of the interdisciplinary SKUP network, we participate in residencies, international fairs, and mobility programs, fostering the exchange of knowledge and techniques. Combining traditional craft practices with contemporary art, we encourage innovation, experimentation, and DIY approaches. By promoting local and international artists, we actively develop collaborations with similar centers and collectives in Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Brazil, Chile, and beyond.

In addition to our core activities in workshops, residencies, and craft development, our organization is engaged in a range of complementary initiatives. We conduct research in the field of free pedagogy and develop educational methods and open studies in art pedagogy and art therapy. We are also active in cultural journalism, collaborating with the independent project syg.ma, and provide remote online education, including partnerships with IT projects in this area.

Our center supports interdisciplinary and performative practices, offering spaces for experimentation and collective artistic expression. We create methodological materials and resources for both emerging and established practitioners, fostering knowledge exchange and professional development.

Through these activities, we aim to strengthen the intersection between contemporary art, craft, pedagogy, and digital innovation, making our programs and research accessible to a wider audience. By combining practical workshops with theoretical research, online learning, and performance, we contribute to the visibility, sustainability, and development of the craft and artistic ecosystem locally and internationally.

Our organization has a long-standing tradition of continuous educational practice, including workshops, courses, and deeper artistic programs, largely run on a volunteer basis. We have actively participated in international fairs, festivals, and exhibitions, and also organize our own festivals and cultural events aimed at fostering urban cultural development.

We have been involved in the EU project “Kaleidoscope of Culture”, and have organized art camps in Montenegro and Bosnia, collaborating with regional organizations to strengthen cultural exchange and artistic networks.

As part of the SKUP network, which unites six independent organizations, our combined experience spans from 5 to over 30 years of direct artistic and cultural practice. This long history allows for the transfer of knowledge between generations, while continuously nurturing a new generation of artists and cultural professionals.

Through these activities, our organization has generated tangible outputs, including trained artists, published materials, digital resources, exhibitions, and events that remain accessible to the community. Our work contributes to sustainable cultural development, professional growth, and international collaboration within the craft and artistic sectors.

Our organization is part of several relevant networks and creative platforms, including The Ceramic School, an IT project supporting online education for ceramic artists; PRAXA, our own initiative for international collaboration; and a network of independent cultural centers in Serbia, fostering exchange, joint projects, and community development across the arts and craft sector.
