LCI Barcelona
LCI Barcelona is the EU Hub of international LCI Education, a Canadian network spanning five continents with 12 leading higher education institutions. Being part of this global community allows us to offer students an international experience with genuine local opportunities for academic mobility. Guided by our motto The World Is Your Classroom, we foster open, borderless education. Nearly 40% of our students are international, enriching our classrooms with cultural diversity and creativity. Our multiverse includes Fashion, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Animation, Video Games, and Photography, offering bachelor’s, CFGS, master’s, postgraduate, and continuous education programs.
Links with craft sector
Our campus in the 22@ Poblenou district, Barcelona’s most creative hub, enables strong connections with local industries, design studios, maker spaces and innovation centers. This ecosystem provides a unique foundation to merge craft and technology within academia, helping students shape their own careers.
LCI Barcelona links with the craft sector by integrating traditional techniques into contemporary design education. Programs in Fashion, Product and Interior Design emphasize material experimentation, sustainability, and artisanal processes. Collaborations with artisans, workshops, and projects in biofabrication and recycled materials create a dialogue between heritage and innovation, ensuring craftsmanship remains relevant for future design solutions.
