Mariia Ralemska

Mariia Ralemska graduated from the National Academy of Arts and Architecture (Ukraine, Kyiv). She is a contemporary artist who works in various media and explores themes of personal and collective trauma, vulnerability, and death. Maria lives and works in Kyiv.

Mariia also inherited the technique of argon-arc welding from her father. Starting in 2022, together with her welder father Viacheslav Ralemskyi, the artist created a workshop for the production of titanium jewelry in Kyiv. The idea of the workshop is to preserve and improve the unique technique of argon-arc welding.

RALEMSKA is a family workshop where a father and daughter transform the unique technique of argon arc titanium welding into true art. We work together, combining family values, craftsmanship, and creativity to create exquisite jewelry with no analogs in the world. Each piece is handcrafted drop by drop, with its colour naturally changing under the influence of temperature, without any additional painting. This rare technique, previously used exclusively in industry, has found its place in jewelry making for the first time thanks to our workshop. RALEMSKA is about preserving family traditions, promoting Ukrainian craftsmanship, and redefining welding as a source of beauty and innovation.
